Original Amor Eyeglasses France 60's Browline Ronnie Kray Legend Tom Hardy Rimless Eye Glasses Gold Filled Large 52-54-22-145 Exc. Condition

ORIGINAL French Amor vintage gold filled frame in possibly never used condition. This is exactly the model that Tom Hardy was wearing in the movie Legend as Ronnie Kray, and this original Amor frame is extremely rare. There are many fakes around even here on Etsy (reported without result), but this is the real, genuine one made in the 1960's by the Amor company. You can sure have your own lenses fitted in at your local optician.

GOLD

The gold filled nose bridge has the Amor logo embossed, as well as 2 marks in the shape of a 3-wing leaf with SIL within, which stands for Societé Industrielle de Lunetterie.

The color of the acetate looks black at first sight but is 'bruyere', very dark chestnut brown.

The condition is really great with no scratches, but the dummy lenses are no longer in place, the glue tape that was holding the lenses is still visible. Another issue is that over time the celluloid shrank a bit, leaving a small gap between arms and front at the hinges. Last issue is that one brow piece screw is original Amor but not in gold color, this is no visible to others.
