585 Gold Eyeglasses Frame 14K Karat 1900's Stamped Oval Antique Windsor Cable Ends Handmade FREE SHIPPING Medium Victorian Reenactment
Solid 585 gold 14k eyeglasses, antique from around the 1900's. This frame has oval lenses, a windsor bridge, and thin cable end temple arms.
There is a messy 585 stamp at the top side of the nose bridge, visible to others. There is a neat 585 stamp on the left temple arm, also visible to others. The right temple arm has a B or 8 stamp visible to others, this one might not be original and gold filled. There has been a repair done from the nose bridge to one lens holder, very neatly but the welding is with another material than gold. The repair is hardly visible without a magnifier.
The weight of the frame without lenses is appr. 5 gram.
The new old stock carton case as in the pictures is included.
Lens width: 39mm, height 29mm. The nose bridge is 26mm
Total width is 115mm
The temple arms are appr. 163mm when stretched, bending at 85mm onwards
Replacing the current bifocal reading lenses (roughly +4 +7) with your own prescription at your local optician is sure possible.
